Gucci to Open Renovated Sydney Flagship

The Italian fashion house will reopen its Gucci flagship, located in Sydney’s Westfield City.

Occupying a space of 11,702sq ft, the flagship store has been renovated in keeping with Creative Director, Alessandro Michele’s latest retail design concept. The new retail concept was unveiled five years ago and the brand has since set about renovating their portfolio since.

Regarding the new concept, Michele commented: “Today, we live in a world of contrasts and it is this that makes life interesting. The new store design not only brings together diverse elements, blurring the lines between the traditional and the contemporary but also allows the clothes and accessories to speak for themselves.”

The store features contrasting elements with light and subdued tones utilised in the architecture and interior design, coupled with harder industrial elements such as rivets and plush materials including velvet.

The newly renovated store will open again tomorrow, Wednesday October 28 and will be home to the current range of Gucci’s men’s and women’s ready to wear collections as well as handbags, shoes, accessories, watches and jewellery.
