Two more Nordstrom Local stores will open in Los Angeles, one in Newport Beach and one in Manhattan Beach.
Nordstrom launched their Nordstrom Local merchandise-free concept store in October 2017. The stores act as support units for Nordstrom locations in the area and customers are able to utilise a number of services – customers can utilise online purchase pickup at the Local stores whilst also enjoying the personal touch. Consultants are on hand to officer advice on styles and answer questions regarding wardrobe queries.
The Newport Beach and Manhattan Beach Nordstrom Local stores will occupy 1183sq ft and 1886sq ft respectively and although the stores are relatively small, customers are able to utilise all of the services on offer. Curb side pickup is available as well as a contactless option where products are placed in the car by a staff member. Products from nearby Nordstrom stores can be shipped the same day and customers can utilise tailoring and alteration services as well as gift-wrapping.
