The brand will be distributed by Spanish Company The Camp BCN across Portugal, Spain and Andorra.
American Eagle Outfitters is extending their already prominent presence across the globe with the launch of their brand into the Portuguese market. The company already has more than 900 stores across the US, Canada, Mexico, Hong Kong and China. In addition to this, there are also 217 stores operated and licensed in 24 countries.
The Camp BCN is the result of an association between David Meire, previously at Desigual and Nike and Javier Carrera, ex Pepe Jeans and Nike. The company already operates Aerie and the surf brand Hurley. According to the company, the brand will enter the Iberian market through corners in El Corte Ingles, with plans to open their own stores within a year and a half.
