The iconic coffee brand has announced that they will open their first store in Laos by summer 2021.
Set to be located in the capital city of Vientiane, the new Starbucks store will be operated by Coffee Concepts (Laos) – a part of Maxim’s Caterers. This new partnership sees the continuation of a successful relationship between the two with Maxim’s Caterers already operating more than 800 Starbucks locations across Hong Kong and Macau, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore and Thailand.
“We’re excited to bring the Starbucks experience to Laos, which has a rich history of coffee production and thriving coffee culture,” commented Michael Conway, Executive Vice President of Starbucks International Licensed Stores.
Whilst Michael Wu, Chairman and Managing Director of Maxim’s Caterers commented: “We are pleased to introduce the Starbucks brand into Laos, which further builds on our 20 year relationship with Starbucks to grow the coffee industry across Asia.
