DXB Entertainments has confirmed that its Legoland Hotel is still on track to open in December this year.
Being built on 300,000sq ft of land, the new Legoland hotel is located adjacent to the Legoland Duabi theme park. The hotel will feature 250 themed rooms each complete with Lego models, a disco elevator and a castle play area. It has been confirmed that the joint venture between DXB and UK’s Merlin Entertainment Group is progressing well and is still on track to open in December 2020.
Mohamed Almulla, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at DXB Entertainment, commented: “In line with our stated hotel strategy to deliver over 1300 hotel rooms to the destination, we are getting ready to open the region’s first Legoland Hotel. We are currently in the process of rolling out many exciting surprises with the launch of our new rides and the re-opening of our theme parks.”
