The company has opened six new stores across Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Libya and Uzbekistan with plans to launch 7 more stores by the end of the year.
American lifestyle brand, Skechers has opened six new stores, three of which are located in Pakistan and one each in Azerbaijan, Libya and Uzbekistan. The move comes as the brand plans to increase its operations across the market despite the challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Archana Das, General Manager, Skechers Middle East and CIS, commented: “As one of the biggest footwear brands in the region, we see this time as the ideal period for preparation for the future. Opening a store, at the right location takes time, and the downtime only gave us the motivation to have more touchpoints for consumers. The sneaker industry is expanding and we need to be present in more location to fulfil our consumer needs.”
