Beginning Thanksgiving week, the ‘Make Dreams Come True’ initiative is a step up from the traditional Black Friday sales.
Owned and operated by Triple Five, American Dream recently opened their retail section following a number of setbacks, with the most recent being the Covid-19 global pandemic. The retail section is set to get a boost from a week-long promotional event that has stemmed from the Black Friday shopping day.
Christmas is set to explode into the mega-mall from November 23 when 550 snowflakes will fall over the centres ice-skating rink. Poinsettias will fill the Winter Garden Court and more than 100 Christmas trees will be displayed throughout the mall. Following a period of closure on Thanksgiving Day, a number of retail promotions will be available. The Saturday after Black Friday will focus on the smaller, independent shops and dining options available at American Dream.
Mark Ghermezian, Co-CEO commented: “We’re moving away from the traditional one-day Black Friday holiday and expanding to eight magical days, giving families the chance to experience American Dream at a time most convenient for them.”
