The robot waiters will work alongside existing M Restaurants staff members to help limit person-to-person contact.
Beginning from December 3, Bailey and Sage, the two restaurant robots will be serving customers at M Victoria Street and M Threadneedle Street in London. The robots will be on hand to take drinks orders and deliver glasses and bottles of champagne from the M bar. The pair also offer seasonal greetings and personalised messages for customers.
Martin Williams, Founder and Chief Executive of M Restaurants commented: “Our ethos at M is one of creating ‘joyful immersive dining experiences’, so we decided that we would go to town and introduce a number of activations to celebrate the re-opening of our restaurants and to introduce some fun to our dining experiences, regardless of restrictions.”
Bailey and Sage are expected to be used throughout the Christmas period however this is subject to extension from January 3.
