The popular fast food chain has unveiled plans to undergo a rapid and aggressive expansion across North America, opening 19 stores in the US and 9 in Canada.
Jollibee is a Filipino multinational chain of fast food restaurants owned by Jollibee Foods Corporation. The company currently operates more than 1600 stores globally across the Philippines, Hong Kong, Macau, Brunei, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Italy and the UK, 45 of these stores are located in the US and 13 across Canada.
The company has commented that it will open a new store in Toronto before the end of the year, it will be located on the historic Yonge Street.
Maribeth Dela Cruz, President of Jollibee Group North America, commented: “Our goal is to make Jollibee as accessible as possible to our customers and we are looking to have a presence in all of the major provinces. Additional areas of focus in the coming year will include Ontario, Manitoba, British Columbia, and Quebec.”
