The project, being developed by Diyar Al Muharraq is still on track to be completed at the start of the second quarter of 2021.
Souq Al Baraha will be a part of the overall Diyar Al Muharraq masterplan and is located at the centre of the project in close proximity to the main residential, commercial and entertainment hubs. The market contains indoor commercial spaces and various outdoor kiosks.
Construction work on Souq Al Baraha currently stands at around 40 per cent and is being monitored closely by Diyar Al Muharraq to ensure that the project is completed on schedule. A substantial percentage of the space has already been leased to local and international investors.
The project aims to offer a new concept of shopping with a harmonious atmosphere inspired by Bahrain’s authentic past and its present modern comforts. The market will consist of a dedicated area that showcases the best of Bahraini heritage with a number of handcrafted products along with gold jewellery, foods and handwoven textiles all available.
