Dick’s Sporting Goods Partners with Instacart

The company is now offering same-day delivery from more than 150 stores in states including Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Virginia.

This year has seen shoppers buying online in record numbers. With platforms such as Instacart and DoorDash growing in popularity, more and more consumers are expecting their parcels to arrive as quickly as possible which has in turn meant a huge number of brands have been interested in partnering with them.

“We’re planning on rolling this out to more stores. But with the holidays, we just wanted to make sure to get something up and running for a considerable amount of our customers. We were able to get that done headed into this final rush, with the last 10 days to Christmas,” commented Joe Pietropola, Senior Vice President of e-commerce at Dick’s.

Dick’s Sporting Goods has reported that their e-commerce sales have grown a huge 95 per cent in the latest quarter with record quarterly same-store sales gains of more than 23 per cent.
