Dilmunia Island Canal and Interactive Fountain Remain on Track

Mall of Dilmunia is set to witness the opening of the much-anticipated Canal and water fountain in February 2021, bringing the exciting features of the one stop destination for shopping and entertainment to life.

The Dilmunia Canal is the Kingdom’s largest man-made body of water, stretching 1.7km from the Marina located in the north of the development, all the way to the Dilmunia Garden situated in the south of the island. A key element of the Canal will be an interactive, multicolour water fountain strategically placed at its centre, offering beautiful views to the Mall’s 12 terraced F&B outlets and adding another dimension to its energized surroundings.

The multimedia fountain measures 20m in height and is complemented by 15m high air nozzles that create spectacular choreographed multi-dimensional spray patterns reaching up to 10m in height, and dancing in harmony with pre-set musically synchronized shows and attractions.

Commenting on the upcoming launch of the unique Dilmunia Island attractions, Shaikh Mohammed bin Duaij Al-Khalifa, CEO of Dilmunia Mall Development Company, said: “We are very much looking forward to celebrating the unveiling of Dilmunia’s newest iconic attractions which we are confident will convert this part of the country into a vivacious hub of activity and entertainment for visitors and residents, and a magnet for families in the Kingdom of Bahrain seeking memorable experiences.”
