The Spanish ice cream brand has signed a deal with two Spanish entrepreneurs to open four new franchised kiosks in shopping centres.
Famous for their grilled ice cream, IceCoBar has partnered with two Spanish entrepreneurs to open two new stores in the El Faro de Badajoz Shopping Centre and the Vilaia de Vigo Shopping Centre in Spain. The brand will also start their international expansion in France, with locations in Lille and Toulouse in mind. The company has also put into operation their new food truck in Valencia, after launching its first food truck model in Jerez de la Frontera.
“Despite all the difficulties experienced in 2020 derived from the pandemic, IceCoBar concluded this last year with 10 operating premises and an average increase of 10 per cent, in its turnover, counting on three months of full confinement with the complete cessation of its activity and billing,” commented Benjamin Gomes, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the chain.
The company plans to reach 20 locations both nationally and internationally throughout 2021.
