Poured Coffee is located at 2165 Danforth Avenue and shares it space with The Re Space – a sustainable-inspired store.
Poured Coffee doesn’t use paper cups, containers, napkins or disposable products in their store and instead serves its hot drinks in reusable cups. Customers are encouraged to bring their own travel coffee mug or reusable cup for their orders.
A selection of donated mugs are available in the ‘Ugly Mug Library’ for customers who have not provided their own travel mug or alternatively, customers can purchase a travel mug from the Re Place Store, which would be rewarded with two complimentary hot drinks for future visits.
Sustainability continues to play an important role as customers look to decrease the use of their disposable products and are more conscious of their carbon footprint. The concept was founded by Mira Vuletic, who has a passion for reducing Toronto’s landfill contribution whilst also providing exceptional coffee. As such, this new initiative is expected to be popular with consumers who are looking to reduce their use of throw-away items.
