The new entertainment hub in Abu Dhabi will include The National Aquarium, The Bridge Wellness and Lifestyle Hub, Cinemacity Al Qana, Pixel eSports and gaming hub and dining options.
Being developed by Department of Municipalities and Transport and Al Barakah International Investment, Al Qana occupies an area of 2.4sq km is divided into 7 key districts including Marina Views, Community Convenience, Cinema Experience, Fun & Activities, Fitness & Wellbeing, Aquarium Adventure and Socialise and Dine.
Fouad Mashal, Chief Executive Officer of Al Barakah International Investment, commented: “Al Qana is our ultimate touristic project that will provide a very unique experience we all envision for the Entertainment and Tourism sectors in the UAE. As the tourism sector recovers from the travel restrictions due to the pandemic, Al Qana would be ready to receive visitors in 2021.”
He added that The National Aquarium is around 95 per cent completed, Al Qana Cinema is around 85 per cent completed, the Marina and its 100 berths are 100 per cent installed and 85 per cent of The Bridge Wellness hub is complete.
