The Japanese retailer is set to open its largest store in the Philippines located at the Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City.
The brand’s current Shangri-La Plaza branch has been closed since last September for renovations, and it is expected that this store will now be expanded from an area of 400sq m to 1,400sq m. Upon completion, the store will house over 4,000 items from Muji’s portfolio, encompassing categories such as health and beauty, furniture, apparel, stationery, kitchenware, electronics among others.
As well as this, the newly renovated store will exclusively welcome Muji’ latest Muji Labo unisex clothing range alongwith their new Muji Advisors service, offering free consultations to customers who are looking for advice on things such as interior design and styling.
In an innovative new twist, the store will also feature Muji’s first Water Refilling Service where customers can refill their pre-purchased reusable water bottles (P160) for free in-store.
The store is expected to open in early 2021.
