Bvlgari Returns to Vietnam

The Italian luxury brand has returned to the country, opening a new store in a shopping mall in District 1, HCMC.

The brand was previously sold in Vietnam through a local distributor, Imex Pan Pacific Group until March 2019. However, in October that year the brand established a subsidiary in the country. The brand is known for its Bvlgari Sepenti jewellery and watches, the B.Zero1 Jewellery Collection and Octo Finissimo watches. Some of the brands products are worth more than $30,180.

A spokesperson for Bvlgari Vietnam commented that the brand’s return to Vietnam is a result of the potential of the Vietnamese market given its rapid urbanisation and economic growth. The spokesperson went on to say that it was the right time to return since “we will be able to approach our potential customers, who usually buy luxury products when travelling to foreign countries.”

The official store opening was not accompanied by a formal ceremony due to the ongoing effects of the Coronavirus pandemic and official orders not to gather in large numbers.
