Al Waleed Completes Work on Meyan Mall

The new shopping centre, located at Al Thanyah Street in Jumeirah, Dubai, is now expected to open in April of this year.

Al Waleed Real Estate, the real estate investment arm of UAE-based Al Waleed Investment Group has now announced that work on Jumeirah’s new shopping mall has now been completed. Boasting a strategic location between Jumeirah Street and Al Wasl Street in the heart of Umm Suqeim II, Meyan Mall is expected to heavily benefit from footfall from the Burj Al Arab, located just 800 metres away.

The mall consists of a ground level, two upper levels and two basement levels, earmarked for parking. Featuring 44 stores of various sizes, the mall will house a selection of local and international brands.

Chief Executive Officer, Mohammed Abdul Razzaq Al Mutawa, commented: “The UAE continues to succeed, achieve more and deliver iconic projects despite the current global challenges. We are currently on the right path in implementing precautionary and safety measures to limit the spread of Covid-19. Preliminary data indicates that the UAE will be one of the first countries to recover from the pandemic and this we believe will play a vital role in positively impacting our economic activities.”
