Three hotels, currently in the planning stage, will centre around the golf course, marina and be within close proximity to the airport.

Al Mouj Muscat already has four hotels, including a Kempinski with 310-keys and Mysk Hotel with 195 hotels, alongside a 250-room Ryhaan by Rotana hotel and a 450-key St Regis property. Nasser Al Sheibani, Chief Executive Officer of Al Mouj Muscat, commented on the three new hotels, explaining that the first will be just next to the 18th hole. It will be anchored with a nice boutique golf resort.
Meanwhile, the second hotel will be suitable for business travellers, Sheibani explains: “We felt that there is a market for a transit hotel, business hotel, next to where the entry to the airport is.” He goes on to detail the third hotel which will be located close to the marina, “we have this beautiful marina and we would like to anchor it with a yacht club and boutique marina hotel, a small number of keys, probably 100-150 keys.”
