The brand has unveiled a completely new look for its Namiki-Dori Ginza store, the second flagship to house a Louis Vuitton café.
The new store design is a collaboration between Jun Aoki and Peter Marino, who were responsible for the iconic design of the Louis Vuitton Osaka flagship. Inspired by the water surface of Tokyo Bay, the exterior features two-layer glass walls to resemble the waters waves. Upon entering guests will see giant jellyfish which have been carefully displayed to appear as eye-catching as the store’s exterior.
The revamped flagship spans seven floors with the first floor housing seasonal items and Louis Vuitton’s latest collections, the second floor is home to leather goods and fragrances, while the third floor and fourth floor offer women’s and men’s ready-to-wear and leather goods. Loyal customers can take advantage of the private salon which occupies the entire sixth floor.
The top floor houses the brand’s second Louis Vuitton café which offers customers pastries and lattes which have been decorated with the LV monogram, foam art and seasonal dessert. The brand’s first monogram chocolate line ‘Le Chocolat V’ will also be launched here.
The store will open to the public this Saturday March, 20.
