The newly-opened café serves 15 types of Italian bread and also offers burrata and tiramisu.
La Fabbrica Italiana is a family-owned concept headed by Italian chef, Davide. The restaurant is dedicated to the humble delicious Italian bread, the Focaccia. There are over 15 varieties of freshly baked bread of offer which includes the Italian barese – or tomatoes and olives, ligure (pesto, potatoes, green beans and parmasean), and trentina (with tomatoes, scamorza, mushrooms and beef spek).
The menu also consists of a traditional tiramisu, with the recipe coming straight from the La Fabbrica Italiana family’s great-aunt, Speranza Bon. The tiramisu is made with imported Italian egg yolks, Bialetti-brewed mocha coffee, whipped mascarpone and dark chocolate savings.
The buratta is served with a variety of accompaniments, including capsicum, anchovies and basil, avocado, baba ganoush and a spice mix. Each burrata is served with a slice of focaccia and a side salad.
