The multi-award winning jewellery brand will open the Notting Hill destination this month as the first of a run of openings planned in its ambitious 2021 expansion plan.
The new store on Westbourne Grove will be the largest and most unique of the seven-strong portfolio with an innovative format, being the first Astrid & Miyu store to offer all three of its services – piercing, tattooing and jewellery welding – complete with a community space.
Astrid & Miyu’s iconic solid gold and vermeil jewellery, which has gathered a celebrity following including Ella Woodward and Holly Willoughby, will be on display. Customers will also be able to shop carefully curated products from fellow cult brands and millennial-targeted neighbours, such as Caudalie and Sweaty Betty, while enjoying a coffee courtesy of the brand’s new partnership with Grind.
Commenting on the launch, Founder Connie Nam said: “We’re delighted to be opening a store in the beautiful Notting Hill, where the idea of Astrid & Miyu was born in my tiny flat back in 2012. This is where it all began for us so bringing all of our services here just feels right. Many of our current London-based customers either live or regularly visit Notting Hill and the neighbouring brands also have a very similar customer base to us.”
