The Australian favourite serves a blend of Portuguese and Southern European cuisine and also has plans to expand into Abu Dhabi soon.
Located on Level 1 of Dubai Festival City Mall, the outlet spans an area of 2,000sq ft and can seat 65 guests at both indoor and outdoor tables. The venue features a wall that is dedicated to the brand’s own signature and well-loved sauces.
Oporto’s first store was opened in Australia’s North Bondi in 1986. The brand has become synonymous with its Bondi burger which features two freshly grilled chicken breast fillets, crisp lettuce, cheese, mayo and Oporto’s original chilli sauce. Alongside this iconic Bondi burger, the restaurant will serve beef burgers and a range of side dishes.
Ashraf Naddaf, Managing Director of Oporto Middle East, commented: “We’re absolutely delighted to have finally opened our first restaurant in the Middle East at Dubai Festival City Mall. We’re also very honoured to have Australian Deputy Consular General John Cavanagh here to celebrate our UAE launch, as we bring the legendary Oporto experience and fiery taste closer to our Aussie fans in Dubai and to new fans yet to try out amazing flavours and products.”
