The H&M Group owned-brand has launched a new app that focuses on community interaction and offers services to help customers.
The newly-launched app features a Monki community space, called Monkisphere where users can communicate with other Monki fans, enter competitions and share their feedback directly with the brand. There is also a feature called M.I.N.T Care, where users can order, wash, repair and access redesign services to help care for and repair their clothing.
As with many other brands in the current retail climate, the Monki app intends to blur the line between physical and digital shopping by allowing its users to unlock a number of unique offers while shopping in-store by using its specific scanning function. The brand has described the app as part of its “ongoing work to engage with its community and offer ways of interacting with the brand and each other.”
The app has launched in Sweden first, and a broader roll-out to other countries is set to follow.
