The Richemond-owned Swiss watch brand has unveiled its expansion plans for the Asian market, with more stores planned to open in China this year.
The expansion plans for the Asian market will assist Piaget in strengthening its presence in the region where it continues to see a high demand. The brand has recorded a five per cent increase in sales during the last quarter of the last year in China. Besides China, the brand also has plans to open stores in the Middle East this year.
Chabi Nouri, Chief Executive Officer of Piaget, confirmed this in a recent interview at the Watches and Wonders online event that was held last week: “We’ll reopen a flagship store in Beverly Hills and also have projects in the Middle East and China.”
Piaget currently has a presence across 13 countries and regions in Asia, these include China, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
