Located at Vida Emirates Hill near JLT, the long awaited Australian-born restaurant opened its doors to customers yesterday.
The Hunter & Barrel restaurant consists of a spacious dining room and an adjoining full-service bar, two private dining spaces for larger groups and gatherings and in-venue entertainment spaces for entertainment including live DJs and sports. A terrace is also set to open at a later date.
The space has been beautifully decorated and featured striking features including a huge wooden sculpture over the bar, a glowing stag wall hanging, leafy green foliage and traditional Arabic fishing nets, tying the brand to its newest location.
The brand is renowned for its signature form of cooking which sets it aside from others. With a reputation for delicious charcoal roasted meats and vegetables, customers can order from a menu that consists of dishes including open fire prawns and smoky chicken wings, salads, burgers and charcoal skewers, served with potato wedges and house salads. There is also a dedicated Steak Programme menu which boasts fillet, rump, sirloin and rib eye alongside a 1.3kg tomahawk and 700g angus t-bone.
