The opening of this relocated store cements the brand’s commitment to the Japanese market where it currently boasts a portfolio of 22 stores.
The newly opened relocated store is now situated I Shinsaibashi, the Namba neighbourhood of Osaka and one of the main commercial areas of the city. Japan is a key market for the Spanish brand, where it has two flagship stores in Tokyo alongside a presence in most important cities such as Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka.
The new 217sq m store is organised under the new brand’s new store concept that Desigual began to develop at the end of last year. Under this new concept, the store’s garments are displayed as if they were in an art gallery. Products for men, women and accessories are displayed in a unique environment with images on the ceiling, lighting and new finishes on the furniture to offer a comfortable, new and exciting shopping experience.
“We continue with our plans to open stores in the main commercial arteries of the most important cities, premium locations that increase the positioning and value of Desigual as a brand”, explains Jordi Balsells, Channel Strategy Director of Desigual. “In the current context we believe that it is very important to continue strengthening the connection with our customers through all channels, including the physical one, and to bet on a store concept adapted to new realities.”
