The pair have jointly opened Breitling’s fourth brand new boutique, which is located on Queen’s Road Central in Central, Hong Kong.
The newly-opened 858sq ft boutique boasts Breitling’s iconic design concept, a contemporary urban interpretation of an industrial loft. This décor style has been adopted in boutiques across the globe to maintain a consistent design concept for the luxury watch brand.
In a new and modern twist, the Central boutique boasts unprecedented innovative Augmented Reality elements. One of which allows customers to point their smartphone camera at the brick wall which is brandishes with Curtiss Warhawk graffiti. The AR trigger will be activated and an animated Curtiss Warhawk filter will appear on the user’s screen, allowing them to save the video or picture to share on social media platforms.
Breitling Chief Executive Officer, Georges Kern, commented: “Hong Kong has been an increasingly important market for our brand and the Breitling boutique, with its prestigious location in Central, achieves our goal of putting ourselves as close as possible to our customer base. I know that visitors will enjoy not only our loft-inspired design codes but also some of the great new watches that will be available there.”
