The lifestyle brand is expected to open a new store in the former department store of the Kult fashion chain at Flinger Straße.
Founded in 1988 by European snowboard champion, Gerfried Schuller, Blue Tomato is now one of the largest online shops for snowboarding, free skiing, surfing and skating products. The brand launched an online shop in 1997 and in the summer of 2012, the brand was acquired by the US action sports retailer Zumiez which has 500 stores across the US and Canada.
Blue Tomato currently offers over 650 brands in more than 50 stores in key countries including Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, and Finland. Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Scandinavia, the UK and Spain remain key, important markets for the brand.
