A rebranding effort has been completed on over 20 Majestic Wine stores as the business looks to move the business in a brand new direction.
This renovation to its portfolio takes into account around 10 per cent of its store portfolio and is all part of a wider strategy based around the improvement of its physical presence. The sites are scattered across the country and include Edinburgh, London, Manchester and Harrogate.
The company has additional plans for revamps of its existing portfolio that will take across the remainder of 2021 and the upgrades will add features such as shelving, new tasting counters and fine wine areas, alongside extra infrastructure that will act as delivery hubs for its commercial business. There is also a pipeline for new store openings, including in Knutsford, Oxford Summerton set for the coming months.
“We firmly believe that our stores offer an experience you simply cannot get elsewhere,” Majestic Wine chief executive John Colley said. “As the country emerges from Covid, we want to ensure we’re on the front foot and continue to offer all the brilliant tastings, expert advice and unbeatable range which people associate with Majestic.”
