The renovation of the outlet will allow space for 17 news brands, as well as creating multipurpose spaces for the MICE sector.
VIA Outlets has announced that it will invest €17.5M into the expansion of the outlet, which is located in Andalusia, Spain. Currently, the centre employs 550 people, however this expansion will create an additional 150 job roles and will welcome 17 new premium fashion brands. The outlet currently houses more than 100 fashion brands, including Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, Puma, Asics, Bimba and Lola and Tous.
As well as introducing new space, the renovation will heighten the centre’s ambitions to become one of the most eco-efficient shopping centres in Europe. The renovation process will introduce natural lighting design and will integrate solutions for energy efficiency, reduction of polluting emissions and the use of renewable energy.
In addition to this, the outlet aspires to become a space designed to host meetings, events and cultural encounters, with the addition of new multipurpose areas, in line with the growing MICE offer in the city.
