The two pop-up stores are located on the famous Ilha dos Vontos and are the precursor to Dior’s long-awaited Cruise collection.
The Cruise collection will finally be revealed on June 17 at a fashion show in Athens. The show is expected to generate huge attraction for the Parisian brand. The two ephemeral pop-up boutiques are dedicated to the Dioriviera capsule collection which was designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri.
Mykonos seems to be the perfect location for Dior’s delicate sailor blouses, Mitzah scarves and J’Adior bracelets, all from the new Dioriviera concept. The stores also house timeless summer essentials, as well as Dior decorative objects, which celebrate ‘summer escapism and the art of living.’
Dior’s Artistic Director, Maria Grazia Chiuri has opened beautiful Dior pop-ups in successful luxury resorts since summer 2017. Last year, Dior opened three Dioriviera stores in Italy, in Forte dei Marmi, Cortina d’Ampezzo and Capri, following a fashion show in Puglia.
