Louis Vuitton Opens Pop-Up Store

The renowned brand has opened a new men’s pop-up store on the second floor of the Miyashita Park’s Shibuya Men’s store, Tokyo.

The pop-up store is called ‘Temporary Residence’ and has been launched in an attempt to dig deeper into the existing concepts and icons devised for the Maison by Creative Director, Virgil Abloh that encourage customers to explore the brand’s worldview.

The interior of the store is reminiscent of the Spring/Summer 2019 collection, which was Abloh’s debut collection, and is unified with rainbow colours. The interior is complete with a number of playful elements such as a wall design and neon signs.

The specially-designed space will first celebrate Virgil Abloh’s LV Trainers by showcasing the latest iterations of the now-iconic sneakers as well as offering several designs exclusive to the Shibuya store. One week later, the Men’s Fall-Winter 2021 Collection takes over with a selection of ready-to-wear, accessories, and leather goods first seen this past January in the Artistic Director’s multi-disciplinary presentation between Paris and a village in the Swiss mountains.

This will be the third location for the Temporary Residence pop-up store, following successful stints in both Paris and New York.
