Deep Dive Dubai Opens for Business

The attraction, which holds the Guinness World Record for being the world’s deepest swimming pool for diving, is now open.

With a 60-metre depth, Deep Dive Dubai holds a staggering 14 million litres of water, the equivalent of six Olympic-sized swimming pools. Key features of the pool are two underwater habitats with a dry chamber at 6-metres and 21-metres; 56 underwater cameras that cover all angles of the pool; and advanced sound and mood lighting systems.

Water is filtered every six hours at the pool through siliceous volcanic rock, NASA-developer filter technology and UV radiation in one of the largest and fastest filter systems in the region. The pool is housed in a 1,500sq m facility which is also home to a dive shop, gift shop, 80-seat restaurant and a variety of meeting and event spaces.

“This facility allows thrill-seekers to dive inwards and discover a new underwater dimension filled with adventure and wonder. We offer an unparalleled experience with year-round diving, in a safe environment, with qualified instructors and services. It is an investment in Dubai’s growing sports culture and will add another destination to Dubai’s tourist attraction and adventure tourism sector,” said Abdulla Bin Habtoor, the Spokesperson for Deep Dive Dubai.
