After a successful period in Germany, C&A is expanding its connected retail partnership with Zalando by expanding to seven other markets, including Switzerland.
The expansion into Switzerland means that customers in the region can now order selected products from the current C&A collections via Zalando. The brand will continue to rely on offline trading and will continue to operate the 96 branches currently open, but intends to explore new avenues to ensure that all customers are catered to in their preferred manner.
“Connected Retail has proven to be an important additional element of C & A’s omnichannel strategy. We want to be where consumers buy fashion. In addition to our own channels, Zalando is a platform that is visited by modern, fashion and sustainability-oriented consumers therefore suits us perfectly, “says Jean-Luc Battaglia, Director of Country Switzerland and Italy.
“We are delighted that C&A is now also part of our Connected Retail network in Switzerland. Currently, over 4,000 active stores are already using Connected Retail, with which we are jointly developing the future of retail: online and offline. C&A is an important partner in this, with whom we are working together on this vision, “says Carsten Keller, VP Director to Consumer.
