The Trafford Centre Launches Summer Social Event

The shopping centre in Manchester has launched a ‘Summer Social’ event space, bringing visitors and guests together following the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Summer Social event brings together an 8,000sq ft beach, retro fairground games, live music and entertainment alongside a wrath of independent food and drink brands, including social media sensation Boujee Bar – the renowned, all-pink Instagrammer’s dream which was founded by Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lystra Adams. Other independent food and drinks brands include The Angelic and Kitakaze.

The fun fair features a number of exhilarating rides for little ones and grownups alike, including The Star Flyer, Log Flume, Apple Coaster and Cruise Ship. Live musicians, street artists and buskers will all be welcomed at the event and the covered stage area will host Trafford Discovers events throughout the summer.

Zoe Inman, Centre Director, said: “Summer Social is going to be a unique and vast outdoor area, offering people a safe space to gather, eat, drink and have some fun. With over 200 stores, restaurants and leisure attractions to also explore within the centre itself, it’s time to plan a sensational day out at The Trafford Centre this summer – don’t forget your sun cream!”
