The new store is dedicated to menswear and is located in Houston at the Galleria Mall. Other luxury brands including Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Bottega Veneta, Tod’s and Prada are situated close by.
The interior of the store was designed by Louis Vuitton’s in-house design team and reflects the brand’s visual representation of its heritage and craftsmanship, in the style as its other boutiques. The new Texas store also incorporated a mix of global art and cultural elements, innovative materials and architectural design.
When entering the store, customers will be greeted by an installation presenting select items from Virgil Abloh, the house’s creative director. Following this, homey settings comprising a range of carefully sourced vintage furnishings and objects can be seen, including a ceramic side table by designer Mado Jolain, Pierre Paulin created pumpkin chairs and stools, and in a fun element, a Louis Vuitton Epi leather foosball table.
The store also boasts an alluring VIP room, furnished with contemporary artwork by Japanese artist Kenta Cobayashi.
