The move will help the brand meet growing customer demand for online orders, which has grown from 40 per cent to 60 per cent of John Lewis’s total sales.
Located in Milton Keynes, the warehouse, which has been leased for 11 years, will become the brand’s second largest distribution centre after their existing 2 million square foot campus just four miles away at Magna Park in Milton Keynes.

This year, the brand has committed to investing £50M in johnlewis.com and the fast growing John Lewis app, as well as more virtual services and events. A further £100M is set to be committed to the brand’s online growth over the course of its five-year strategy.
