The group intends to launch a hotel within Zin, Real Estate Specialist Befimmo’s landmark mixed-use scheme located in the heart of the Belgian capital.
The hotel will add to Standard Internationals already successful portfolio, which consists of properties in New York, Miami, London, the Maldives and Singapore. Meanwhile, for Befimmo, the recently launched hotel scheme promises to strengthen the offer of their latest project, Zin, which will bring together an appealing mix of residential, commercial and leisure space under one roof.
“This property is a perfect step for The Standard in Europe,” said Standard International CEO Amar Lalvani. “Once again, we will be completely and unexpectedly reinventing a property and transforming a neighbourhood. We can’t wait to surprise people and show them just how intriguing Brussels is and why we love it.”
The hotel will be complete with 180 guestrooms and 20 branded apartments. Other features will include unique public areas such as a lush ground-floor greenhouse and a rooftop that is complete with outstanding F&B offers.
