Ben & Jerry’s Signs Three Site Deal

The ice cream franchise has signed a three site deal that will see the brand expand into Far North Queensland.

The three sites will be located in Cairns, Palm Cove and Port Douglas with the Cairns site scheduled to open first in September of this year, dependent on lockdowns in the country. The Palm Cove location is set to open next in Q1 of next year with the Port Douglas location set to open last in Q3 of 2022.

Bruce Lambert, Business Development Manager (ANZ), commented: “We have some key targets of Brisbane and South East Queensland. Our strategy isn’t to have a store on every corner, but instead it is to have up to 50 carefully selected locations across ANZ to ensure our franchisees are successful and can have a positive impact in their communities.”

The 50 store goal is set to be reached by 2024 with the network already operating 42 stores now.
