The Dobbies garden centre chain is set to open a new small format Little Dobbies store in London’s Richmond.
The retailer has agreed a ten year lease for the 2,700sq ft space which was previously home to a Topshop store. The store will operate under the Little Dobbies banner, following the launch of the concept in Edinburgh last year.
Dobbies has appointed Savills to roll out the Little Dobbies brand across the UK as it looks to extend its reach to more urban towns and cities.
Cameron Bell, Retail Director at Savills, said: “The Little Dobbies concept continues to prove successful and its latest store in Richmond is the perfect next step for the brand. The store will be located in a highly desirable retail pitch, at the centre of a prime suburban town, and the change of use for the site from fashion to lifestyle, reflects the trends we’re seeing within the wider market.”
