The retailer has opened two shop-in-shops in France at Cora Hypermarkets after setting up a similar partnership with Geant Casino last year.
The shop-in-shops each boast a sales area of around 400sq m and are located in the Cora hypermarkets of Toul and Val d’Yerres. This partnership will hopefully see the hypermarket chain revitalise its non-food range and attract new customers.
For C&A, the move allows the brand to diversify its presence in France and establish itself in places where it has no immediate plans to invest in its own branches. The newly launched shop-in-shop concepts are complete with sales advisors and the brand intends to expand its customer base through this co-operation with Cora Hypermarkets.
The move comes off the back of a successful partnership with Geant Casino, which has seen the fashion chain open 25 points of sale over the past year.
