Eataly Reopens at Dubai Mall

Italian food store and restaurant concept Eataly has reopened its doors at The Dubai Mall. The affordable Italian dining venue had previously been closed to undergo refurbishment.

Eataly returns with an upgraded and improved look, as well as a new cooking school offering called La Scuola. With the new school, Eataly has positioned itself as a place to eat, shop and learn about all things Italian.

At the core of Eataly is its full-service restaurant, providing casual dining and quick service counters. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with all the usual staples on its menu. Eataly boasts in-house made pasta, as well as a range of authentic pizzas and Italian street foods.

The venue is also home to an in-house store, complete with fresh produce for creating Italian cuisines. There are more than a thousand products available, from cured meats and cheeses, olive oils and balsamic vinegars, to handmade bread. There are also more than 120 types of different pasta to choose from.

A new addition to the space is La Scoula. The cooking classes cater to both adults and kids, where each student will receive understanding of the history of food and culture in Italy.

Executive chef, Marcello Daniele Vigano said: “Italian cooking is a way of life and each recipe connects to a story. This is what we aim to enlighten our students about and hope they take away the value in the simplicity of good ingredients when cooking.”

Eataly CEO Nicola Farinetti, added: “The Middle East is a core market for Eataly and we are delighted to reopen our original restaurant at The Dubai Mall. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to share our passion for Italian gastronomy with residents and tourists alike. We cannot wait to welcome customers and diners to The Dubai Mall outlet and celebrate passionate artisans and high-quality food in a dynamic and culturally diverse city such as Dubai.”
