After the opening of the Coop Superstore in Trento in June, another Coop store in Bolzano followed earlier this month.
The new Coop shop is located in the historic Palais Campofranco in one of Bolzano’s most exclusive squares, Piazza Walther, within a new commercial structure.
The concept, conceived and realised by Interstore | Schweitzer is the same as that already applied at the three other shops in Predazzo and Trento in the past 12 months, characterised by graphic elements that refer to the territory and to the manufacturing process of the products and guide consumers in their journey through the market.
One of the highlights of the market is the ‘local products’ department located immediately at the entrance to the shop. In fact, it covers part of the paneling which looks like a large golden ‘vase’ and features impressive customized display equipment. The above-mentioned ‘vase’ contains the spectacular century-old Ginkgo tree, which stands at the center of the whole shop and enhances its unique character.
In addition to the daily shopping of people who live and work in the area, the new shop is also aimed at tourists who can benefit of the “culinary” shopping experience by finding typical local products and take-away food. With this in mind, the layout has been designed to provide customers with a quick but stimulating experience.
