Victoria Square Invests £500,000

Northern Ireland’s leading leisure and retail destination, Victoria Square, situated in the heart of Belfast, has invested almost £500,000 in a refurbishment of its personal shopping suite and personal care facilities.

The personal shopping suite has undergone a modern renovation and now offers both virtual and in-store styling. The enhanced space encourages a stress-free shopping service with the ability to shop at Victoria Square’s array of retail brands in a comfortable and contemporary environment.

The investment has also significantly upgraded the centre’s parent and child changing facilities on level two, creating a brighter, more welcoming and user-friendly experience for visitors to the centre. The facilities have been added too with the introduction of an inclusive toilet and upgraded accessible toilets. The improvements complete a programme to renovate Victoria Square’s personal care offer, following previous investment to the additional parent and child changing facilities in the centre’s lower ground level prior to the pandemic.

Victoria Square has also revealed a 17.14 per cent increase in sales when compared to 2019 at the centre since reopening in May, driven in part by the continued evolution of the centre’s retail mix. Recent additions to the centre include the first bricks and mortar store for Northern Ireland-based FitPink Fitness, the women’s athleisure retailer and Gym+Coffee, one of Ireland’s largest and most-recognised athleisure brands.
