The park is located on level two of The Galleria Al Maryah Island and has been unveiled as the Middle East’s first National Geographic Ultimate Explorer.
The activity centre is an edutainment complex that offers seven exciting attractions that are aimed at captivating young guests and encouraging them to partake in STEAM learning. The heart of the centre is two VR/AR experiences with the first one, called Space Jump where guests will be put through a training programme to see if they are space ready. Meanwhile, Recon River puts guests on a raft, sending them downriver to search for rare and exotic animals.
The park also houses a soft play; a robotics lab and an upcycling centre. The Zoocoder and CritterCam allow visitors to ‘chat’ with the animals and the Terra Studio which provides a similar atmosphere to the raw forces of nature.
The park itself ties in with National Geographic’s mission to educate, entertain and inspire all visitors, a value that sits at the very core of everything that the company does.
