The new 60,000sq ft dining venue is called Pavilion at The Beach and it will be located at The Beach Opposite JBR.
The venue is expected to open in December 2021 and will house five licensed restaurants, consisting of: La Mezcaleria, Café Buur, Akiba Dori, Eataly and Hurricane’s Grill. Brought to life by Merex Investment who have destinations at The Beach, City Walk and Le Mer, the new day-to-night venue is similar to Bla Bla beach club which has enjoyed great success since opening in January 2021 in JBR.
Shahram Shamsaee, CEO at Merex Investment Group, said: “We’ve thought carefully about the various experiences at The Beach and firmly believe that the launch of this all-inclusive environment further elevates the way visitors enjoy the outdoor destination. We are pleased to bring forward an innovative project to The Beach to reimagine the way visitors enjoy an interactive and elevated experience.”
In terms of the restaurants coming to the Pavilion at The Beach; La Mezcaleria is a pan-Latin inspired restaurant; Akiba Dori will bring a cool street-style Japanese vibe; Eatalay is a well-loved Italian restaurant; Hurricane’s Grill provides a menu full of meat options; and Café Burr will provide a relaxed option for coffee, breakfast and lunch.
