The hotel has been opened by Bernd Schlacher, owner of MOTTO Group, in the centre of the city of Vienna.
Comprising of 83 rooms and eight suites, the new Hotel MOTTO Vienna boasts a key location in the very centre of the city. The hotel features a main restaurant and bar, an open-air rooftop garden and bar, a patisserie on the ground floor and a private fitness and sauna area as well as meeting and events spaces.
The heart of the hotel, Chez Bernard – Restaurant et Bar, occupies the top two floors of the building and is presented under a glass dome, which is a new addition by Arkman Zeytinoglu Architects. With an interior design inspired by 1920s Paris, the dining venue is expected to wow guests.
Speaking of the new hotel, Bernd Schlacher, commented: “Hotel MOTTO is a locally-rooted visual story. I wanted to combine the traditional Viennese architecture with the glamour of 1920s Paris, but infuse the design with some personal design touches inspired by the Scandinavian comfort and the Japanese ‘WABI SABI’ culture.”
