Quintain to Invest €500m to Create a New Urban Village in Dublin

The developer best known for Wembley Park in London will deliver 91,000sq ft retail space and 279 apartments in the first phase of a placemaking project in Dublin.

The first phase of the development, which will be called The Crossings, includes 279 apartments and over 91,000sq ft of space to house two major supermarkets, 20 retail units and five restaurant outlets, along with a multi storey car park with a significant provision of electric vehicle charging points.

The Crossings has been designed to be a truly mixed-use community, with a 2-acre village green as the focal point for the area as a place to unwind and dine and to bring people together at events, artisan markets and family fun days.

Tesco has signed a lease for a 40,000sq ft store, which is set to open in January 2023, with a second leading supermarket anchor store set to open at the same time, which will serve an estimated potential shopping population of over 100,000 people.
