M Restaurant to Open in Canary Wharf

Nearly six years after the site was secured, Rare Restaurants has finally announced that its third M Restaurant will open in Canary Wharf next spring.

The new and highly-anticipated M restaurant and lounge will occupy a 10,000sq ft venue located in a 220-metre residential skyscraper. The venue itself will span over two floors with a 180-cover dining room, two private dining rooms, a wine tasting room, a private members’ lounge and an exciting and innovative ‘wagyu and wine café’.

A Mediterranean-focused menu, overseen by Executive Chef Michael Reid, will offer meat cuts including 9+grade Blackmore Wagyu and 10+ grade Kobe steaks alongside stuffed lamb rack, Iberico pork, salt baked bonito and dry aged kingfish tail complete with crispy crackling.

CEO and Founder, Martin Williams, commented: “M Newfoundland will be our most ambitious and spectacular project to date – a gastro-playground which offers our award-winning levels of hospitality and an immersive menu which includes both the world’s highest quality beef and finest wines; I have no doubt it will become the number one drinking and dining venue in Canary Wharf.”
